Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you thanks for helping me correct the intell mistake! I have a 550 Mhz PIII processor, and originally took a look at the processor cooling fan when I could not stand the noise that was coming from it. After several processor/heatsink replacements through Gateway tech. support, I knew that it wasn't Gateway's problem, but one that had to do with Intell not willing to spend an extra dime for acceptable means of processor cooling...Intel ought to be ashamed of themselves for putting such cheap insurance on such an expensive piece of hardware! Now, thanks to you, I have adequate thermal protection, and the noise level of my "P3 TF" heatsink and cooling fan is HALF of what the one fan on the OEM heatsink used to be! Not only that, but I could actually feal the difference with my hand on how much air that thing was moving...outstanding. Thanks, you have the best cooling solutions on the net. I´ve ordered you in  the past two v3 coolers (my two V3 3000 are running at 187 Mhz. without problems for months) as well as other coolers for CPUs. In particular I am very impressed about the incredibly-good performance of the P3 TF cooler (used on my PIII- katmai core-450 running at 600 Mhz; thermal paste used), whilst playing Quake 2 and now Quake 3, no crashes, no blue screens....., rock solid indeed.

Now I have assembled my new monster based on a Coppermine 600. It runs incredibly fine at 800 with your P3TF (the one I had on the Katmai). So I´ve decided to upgrade the P3TF to a P3STF (fans) as well as purchase you a P3STF for my other old-good-baby (you know the Katmai).

My neighbours ask my why I have the fast computers in the house,....Its  easy, just contact TENNMAX, he, he...   Okay, PCs are my hobby but I´m a serious worker too.

I recently upgraded my computer's CPU to a PIII 600 coppermine and bought your PIII STF Cooler for it. I had heard all the advantages of the coppermines cache being "on die" but what I did'nt realive that it was taking the form of a protrusion on the chips surface, creating a gap of about 1mm. The thermal pad on your cooler fit this situation perfectly. I coverd the chip with thermal paste and aplied the cooler, there was a noticable gap between the majority of the chip's surface and the cooler (filled in by thermal paste). After running the CPU for about one hour the gap was gone and the cooler fit like a glove, the thermal pad worked wonders and it soffend and molded to the chip, squeezing the thermal paste out, I was very pleased. Thank you for the great product.

I would like to thank you guys at TENNMAX. I peviously was unable to run my slot 1 PIII 500 at 645 due to heat and 667 wouldn't even boot. After installing you P3 STF heatsink/fan cooling device I am now running at 667 for 3 hours with intense cpu number crunching and no lockups. The heatsink is cool to the touch and it appears to be running about 15 to 20 degrees celsius cooler than the normal PIII heatsink/fan. I applaud and thank you for this remarkable device.

I would just like to thank you for your excellent product (P3 STF) and speed of delivery. It was just as easy as the instructions said...... the hardest part of the installation was the actual taking off of the old heatsink..... from there it was very easy.....the only thing I noticed that you may want to update on the installation sheet would be to tell the customer to use the thermal paste you include in the kit to spread on the CPU chip where you took the old stuff off.....other than that, it is an excellent product, thank you.

Just to update you, I did receive the fan on January 17 that you shipped on January 12.  I never received the first order.  If it ever does show up, I will send it back to you.  By the way, the fan is working great on my son's graphics board.  He also installed some heat sinks on the memory chips and now he is able to do some serious over-clocking without suffering from crashes!  And he did all this by himself...he's only 15!  Thanks, again.

Thanks for processing my order so quickly, I got the cooler today and found the installation straight forward. Prying the old fansink off was a bit nerve-racking however, and there was a 5 or 6mm air bubble in the thermal epoxy that had been holding down the old fansink, dead center, right where I would expect the die to be, with slight discoloration of the epoxy around the edges of the bubble. I hope that does not bode ill for the future life of my video card. Thanks again for the prompt service.

This is to let you know that I received my TennMax "P3 STF"...In only one day...Thank you.  The real Reason for the e-mail is the fantastic performance of the P3 STF Cooler heatsink with the "super fan option". (comparable to the Alpha and Global Win without the size and weight).

With the thermal pad on the cooler, I could get no lower than  62 deg. Celsius processor core temp ..... not what I was after for an   overclocked P3 500...safe maybe, but I've seen a lot better temps. posted for the 500. ............... SO lets try it without the pad.

After carefully scraping the pad off and using solvent to clean the sticky residue, I prepped the surface with alcohol...applied a light coat of silicon heat transfer compound (heatsink grease included in the pacakge) to the processor....installed the cooler onto the processor ... (nice clip design) By the way I used the (olga) spacers for a tighter fit. SURPRISE .... processor core temp. at 42 deg. (Celsius).  A full 20 deg. (Celsius) difference and right where I needed to be.....very coooool. Thank you for the great product!

I am a loyal owner of a Stealth V2 Cooler and currently a Stealth V3 Fighter. When I received the v3 cooler I said to myself "This is way too small, how can this do better than the 3" fan I had on the old heat sink?"  The V3 cooler was not even getting hot so disabled the fan thinking it was not attached correctly, and damn I almost burnt my hands. So to make this long story longer,.... I found TennMax has the most brains when it comes to cooling :)

I recently ordered the Stealth V3 Fighter cooler for my Voodoo3 card, it arrived 3 days after I ordered it and installed with no problem. I just wanted to say thanks for the quick service and great product. I had my doubts when I saw the size of the heatsink, but it keeps everything nice and cool! I don't understand why 3dfx does not include a V3 Stealth from the factory, the person who allowed those cards to be shipped without proper cooling should be shot! The heatsink gets too hot to touch in 5 minutes!    Anyway, thanks again from a satisfied customer!

I was pleasantly surprised to receive my VIVA TF Cooler on Saturday after placing my order with you Thursday night, which I didn't expect to come in until the following week. Your P3 TF cooler is great ! Now i run my p3 500 at 550.Since the cooler arrived i've never experienced a SINGLE lockup at 550 (i've been playing Unreal at 1024*768 for hours everyday for one week).I didn't use any thermal compound but the pad only. With the OEM heatsink at 525 i was able to play 2 minutes at best !!! Your delivery time is also very impressive , just six days to receive the product in italy. Thanks!!!

      I ordered a Stealth V3 Fighter cooler and a Mega7 cooler.  When I got them, and opened them up, the first thing I said was "WOW!!"
      The coolers are VERY well made, I was impressed by the precision in every aspect of the manufacturing. And the fit, well, to say it in one word, was >>PERFECT<<!.
      The MEGA7 took about 15 seconds to install, and the V3 Stealth went onto my Voodoo3 3500TV in about 5 minutes.
      Do they work?? OH YEAH!!! The Voodoo3 is easily overclocked now with NO overheating problems AT ALL.  (at 217mhz, I left it running the quake2 timedemo's at 1024x768 for 2 hours with no problem). The AMD K6-III 450 in my system runs cooler than ever.........     Thank you so much for you excellent products, I am a happy camper!!! The Stealth V3 Fighter was the GREATEST investment I made!!!!!!)

The TNT (Lasagna BGA Cooler) type A cooler fits perfectly on my MSI-6163 BX chipset. And the TOP thermocouple that came with my motherboard( when removed from the OEM mounting bracket) is a perfect slip-fit for the fins on the TNT heatsink. It keeps my BX chipset cooler than even your improved BX heatsink. You gotta love that phase-change pad. At 10mm the Type-A cooler also fits under the P3-TF heatsink on my PIII. :)

hi, i received my stealth v3 fighter three days ago and i must say i am extremely happy with it! Installation was so simple(except for getting the damn heatsink off of my V3 3000) but once it came off everything else was a snap. My V3 3000 is now actually cool to the touch and total system temp is much cooler than before. Again, great product!!!

I have been overclocking the @$#%!! out of my Voodoo3 3000 and its running great.When i first looked at it i was surprised at how small it really was compared to the heatsink that comes on it from the factory. Before putting the cooler on it the stock heatsink would just about burn your hand.With the V3 cooler it is cool to the touch.Guess it goes to show that size doesnt matter. I got your Lasagna X Cooler yesterday, no problems with the install. Man, that fan is small. I've gotten my stock Diamond Viper V770 up to 170 MHz core from the standard 125 Mhz, so I've basically gotten an Ultra now except or about 100 dollars cheaper... Works great, and it's also a lot quieter than your normal Lasagna. Thanks muchly!

I couldn't be happier with the VIVA TF fan I put in my P2-450. It had an expensive Peltier fan on it, but was still overheating under heavy load (like compiling a few dozen Linux kernels). The VIVA TF fan has cured my overheating problems entirely -- the CPU is averaging 20 degress F cooler. It's a miracle! (and it's much quieter, too)

Thanks for the wonderful and fast service in completing my order !! I ordered it on Thursday and I received the Cooler Saturday morning !! The TennMax Lasagna STB TnT Cooler has worked great and has solved all my crashes with the STB 4400...STB Tech service noted that removing their heat sink would void my warranty on the card, but I told them that I'd rather put a heatsink on that works and void the warranty than wreck my card (which they would replace....) and my system because of the lousy heat sink that they had on it..... I received my Stealth V2 Cooler. Something new for me to try. I removed my tower's case and front panel and then set my Wicked3D (voodoo2, 12MB) card from 92 MHz to 100 MHz.

To test the Stealth V2 Cooler, I ran UnReal for 2 hours, about 150 cycles of the timedemo fly - by - castle - scene. I had no crashes/freezes or screw-ups. My fps went from 38.5 to 40.5 at 800 x 600 using the 220 patch. Of course, I disabled Coronas and Volumetric Lighting.

This Cooler is the best thing I've tried yet!!!!! I've now done my snooping on the 'net and have switched to TennMax for all my heatsink/fan purchases.  Keep up the great work........

....  It turns out that the exhaust on the (VIVA TF) PII cooler blows directly on the PCB backside of the Banshee chip. This extra air movement and the close proximity of the AGP board has decreased the Banshee chip temperature by ~15 +/- 5 degrees F. Any future customers who wish to add a cooling device on the backside of the Banshee (or any AGP) card should think about one of your (TennMax VIVA TF)   PII coolers ....

Excellent heatsink & cooler!! This is the best solution I've seen to cool my Creative Voodoo II which starts to degrade when it gets too hot even running at normal clock speeds. I've seen others that just point a fan at the cards attempting to make a difference, but with no real improvement. I purchased a Lasagna X cooler from your company last week. I popped the heatsink off of my Viper 550 and cleaned the chip thoroughly. I put the Lasagna X on the chip and followed the instructions. Total setup time: 10 minutes. With your cooler, I was able to overclock my card to 120MHz core and 122MHz memory. I ran the Quake II timedemo for four hours straight with no problems; at the current speed, the card gets 39fps on my Pentium II 233 at 1024x768 with vsynch on. All I can say is thanks for making such an excellent product, and keep up the good work!!!

That (Stealth) fan truly works. If I overclocked my Creative Labs Voodoo2 to 97 Mhz, it would lock up within 2 minutes. Now I can run it at a little over 100 Mhz and it never freezes up. Truly a great product you have going there. Robert Riley    9/1/98

I would like to take a minute to thank you for the great product. After installing the Viva P2 (dual fan) cooler on my processor, I immediately noticed a significant drop in cpu temperature. Your product is far superior to the cheap heat sink/fan combo that came with my cpu.
The Viva heat sink, with its sealed top is obviously designed for maximum air flow across the entire heat sink fin surface. Faster, more consistent cooling is the result. The additional ACFM produced by the second fan forces even more air through the heat sink, an overclockers dream!

My diamond monster 3d ii would always lock up on me about 20 minutes into ultimate race pro on certain tracks (i even lowered the clock frequency) but - i know this is going to sound like an infomercial -  thanks to the V2 (told ya), it doesn't anymore! I can feel the fan blowing away all the heat being generated from the three chips. I've even managed to up the clock frequency again without any troubles.      Thank you!   John  July, 1998
