Simple Steps to Assemble VIVA on/off Pentium II and Athlon Cartridge

To Mount the VIVA on P-II

1. Push both "Levers" upward (toward the fan) to expose the "hooks" at the opposite ends of the clips.

2. Drop the "end hooks" into the holes B.

3. Pull the cooler slightly towards the top of the cartridge. This will position two cooler's bottom pins into the "locator holes" on the cartridge plate.

4. Firmly press down both levers into the holes A. You should hear a crispy click when the hook sets.

To Dismount the VIVA off P-II

1.Use a small screw driver and place it under the small "Notch Hooks" just below the Levers. Pry the notch upward towards the fan. You should hear a clear clicking sound when clip releases.

2. The VIVA cooler is then easily removed from the cartridge.

Here is a custom VIVA TF Cooler : with two ball bearing fans on top of the same VIVA heatsink. The wires are spliced, so only one 3-wire connector to the Pentium II/Athlon Motherboard.  This custom cooler is especially useful for P2 overclockers.
