7.17.00 Some new I-Opener units now use Rise MP6 processor which is "taller" than the WinChip CPU.  We are working on a special   application note for users to "elongate" the short clip of the iOp Cooler. This enables the cooler to better fit on Rise MP6 in Socket 7. 

  You may use a pair of pliers to gently "straighten" out the curved parts of the shorter clip, and to make it hook on to the socket better.  It is not a difficult task for you to "modify" the cooler.

  BTW, there is no issue of installing the iOp Cooler with WinChip processor.

5.9.00  Another large production batch of Lasagna iOp Cooler just been complete.   We have ample of this special cooler to meet all the quantity demand.

4.29.00  We are shipping the iOp Cooler on the same day your order is confirmed.  A great number of this coolers have already installed, and we have not heard of any problem so far - a confident booster for everyone!

4.17.00  Great! We begin to ship the Lasagna iOp coolers today!

             We will also e-mail update information (with picture) to all the customers in the back order list.   The power connector fits perfectly on the pin 9 and pin 10 (next to the RAM module).   Black (ground)  wire should be on pin 9. See the pictures.

4.15.00  Well, the FedEx shipment with key iOp cooler parts got held up in Indianapolis Airport 4am on Friday.  This unfortunately forces us to start shipping the Lasagna iOp cooler for all back orders on Monday, 4/17/00.  We apologize for the delay.

4.13.00  To increase the air flow to the Lasagna fan so to improve thermal performance, and also to reduce the noise, we are recommending the users to cut out a small area of the metal shield just above the cooler.  We will post more detail information, including pictures about this recommendation later.

4.12.00   Good News: On this Friday 4/14/00, we may start to fill the backorders received since 3/29/00. We hope the FedEx shipment to our office in Massachusetts will be on time for the initial delivery. New orders received after today will be shipped in the week of 4/17/00.

4.10.00 We will deliver the new cooler within two weeks.  The coolers in production now will have the perfect power connector for I-Opener system.  The new part number is 50-10-5B-C2-io   (now is called TennMax iOp cooler).

4.6.00   We are working to include a 2mm pitch connector for the 5V Lasagna Cooler currently in production. This connector will be standard for the I-Opener Cooler.  So the users can easily connect the Lasagna to the 5 V power source in the system.

All orders for the 5 Volt Lasagna Slim CPU Cooler received after 3/29/00 are backordered. We are producing a large batch of this special 5 V cooler. We hope to fill all the orders in about two weeks.
